A Summer Opportunity Philadelphia International Music Festival featuring members of The Philadelphia Orchestra:
Students attending the 14-day Philadelphia International Music Festival, featuring members of The Philadelphia Orchestra, choose to participate in one of four primary programs: orchestral studies (up to seven orchestra levels), intense solo performance studies, college audition preparation, or piano studies with Hugh Sung, collaborative pianist at the Curtis Institute of Music. All programs include private lessons, solo performance opportunities, concerto competitions, an optional chamber music program, master classes, daily private practice, faculty recitals featuring principal players from The Philadelphia Orchestra, optional daily music studies including sight reading, ear training, music history, and more. PIMF includes a pre-college, college division, and a children's division and is open to students of all ages and skill levels.
